1. Description of the service

In Armamentum Oy’s mobile application / software on the “FLEETBook” service platform (fleet management service)

These terms of use apply between Armamentum Oy (the “Administrator”), a member of a company or organization or an individual (the “User”) maintaining the Service for the use of content and materials produced on the Service and available in the mobile application / software.

Services purchased through the service are subject to a fee.

By logging in to the Service or using the Service, the User accepts and undertakes to comply in full with the terms of use in force at the time. The User must carefully read these Terms of Use and accept them as binding in order to use the Service. These terms and conditions apply to content related to the Service that the Administrator has brought to the User’s attention.

3. Licence

Only a natural person can register as a User of the Service. Access to sections of the Service that requires login is personal and may not be transferred to other parties.

The Administrator reserves the right not to accept the User’s registration. You may use the Service only for the purposes set forth in these Terms of Use. Use of the Service requires that the User accepts and complies with these Terms of Use. The Administrator may also cancel the User’s registration if desired.

All rights to use the Service, including copyrights and other intellectual property rights, belong to the Administrator. The User has no right to reproduce the Service in any way or in any form or to translate, modify, adapt or otherwise alter the Service.

4. Registration and deletion of personal data 

Use of the service requires User registration. The User joins the Service by registering as a User at www.fleetbook.fi and accepting these Terms of Service there. The personal data provided to the service will be stored for two years (24 months) at a time from June 2021.

If the person registered for the service (User) has not upgraded to any activity under the service during the last 24 months, the service administrator may request

individuals to review and update their own information. If a person does not acknowledge their information as checked or updated, or does not want to continue as a user of the service, the personal information may be deleted.

The user can also request the deletion of his / her data from the Service and its personal register at any time by sending a request to the service provider at fleetbook@fleetbook.fi

The Terms of Use are binding on the User in all cases as long as he uses the Service.

5. Use of personal information

Armamentum Oy (Administrator) acts as the registrar of the personal data stored in the service. Requests for inspections and requests for rectification of data in accordance with the legislation on data protection and the processing of personal data in force at the time are addressed to the Administrator at fleetbook@fleetbook.fi.

According to the current Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the data subject has the rights according to the data protection statement. The service stores the mandatory information described in the privacy statement and their uses.

The User is obliged to use the Service in accordance with these Terms of Use, Finnish legislation, official regulations and good practice and is liable for any damage caused to the Administrator or other parties by the use of the Service and the material contained therein. The Administrator has the right to block the use of the Service if there is a reasonable reason to suspect that the Service is being used in violation of good manners and Finnish law.

6. User Responsibilities

The user is obliged to ensure the confidentiality of his / her identification data. The User is responsible for all use of the Service with his / her identification data and any costs, fees, obligations and penalties that may arise from it. If the User suspects that his / her own information has fallen into the possession of a third party, he / she must immediately contact the Service Administrator at fleetbook@fleetbook.fi.

The User is responsible for the accuracy and arrival of the information provided through the Service. You represent and warrant that you will not post any inappropriate material and that the material you post on the Service will comply with the law and good manners and does not infringe the rights of others, and that you are entitled to such material.

The Service may not be used to publish or distribute copyrighted or similar material without the permission of the right holder, or in any other way that is harmful, offensive or harmful to the Administrator or other Users.

7. Responsibilities of the Administrator

The Administrator maintains the Service and provides a framework for it, striving to maintain the highest possible level of services and to nurture the Users.

The Administrator has the right to remove inappropriate content produced for the Service or block the use of the Service if there is a reasonable reason to suspect that the Service is used in violation of good manners and the law. The User’s account may be closed if the User so requests. A user account may also be closed in cases where (I)

the account information has been altered unlawfully, (II) the account is used by anyone other than the User, or (III) the account or its contents are used for non-contractual or illegal purposes.

The Administrator has the right to change the content, operation and accessibility of the Service in order to develop the Service or for any other necessary reason without restriction in the manner and at the times it deems best. The information, instructions and advice provided in the Service are not intended as legal, commercial, medical or other information, instructions and advice binding on the Administrator of the Service and therefore cannot be relied upon. Based on them, no claims can be made against the Administrator or the User of the service.

The Administrator shall not be liable to Users for any factual or technical errors, omissions or indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use or interpretation of the information contained in the Service, whether due to error, service or communication malfunctions, maintenance or other reasons.

The Administrator does not guarantee the uninterrupted and error-free operation of the Service. The service is checked regularly to prevent malfunctions. The Administrator has the right to suspend the operation of the Service due to the related change, renewal, maintenance and installation work or similar other reasons related to the Service. The aim is to notify Users of downtime as early as possible.

8.  Security

The Service Administrator arranges the security of the Service in a generally acceptable manner and strives to prevent unauthorized access to the Service with appropriate technical solutions.

The information content of the service is for Google’s cloud servers. The Registry is located in the EU on Google’s cloud servers.

9. Validity of Terms of Use

These terms of use are valid until further notice from 6/2021. If necessary, the administrator has the right to unilaterally change these terms of use by notifying. If the Terms of Use change, the User must re-accept the Terms of Use when logging in as a user of the Service. The Terms of Use are binding on the User in all cases as long as he uses the Service.

10. Settlement of Disputes

Disputes related to the Service based on these Terms of Use or referred to in these Terms shall be resolved primarily in negotiations between the Administrator and the User. If this is not successful, disputes will be resolved in the Oulu District Court in accordance with Finnish law.
